Location

Sun Peaks, British Columbia, is Canada’s 2nd largest ski area. Sun Peaks’ 4,270 acres are spread across three skiable peaks, each with a personality all its own. Each mountain is easily accessible from the village, so you can ski all three peaks in the same day or stick to the mountain runs that you love the most. Sun Peaks receives 6 meters of snow annually and is blessed with light, dry powder conditions that the Interior of BC is famous for each winter season. Deep steeps, long cruisers, glade zones, powder stashes, and corduroy groomers are all available to you. Experience the European-style, ski-through village filled with quaint shops, cafés, and eateries. Sun Peaks has an abundance of activities and events for both on and off the slopes.
The Nancy Greene International Race Centre is an internationally renowned facility boasting consistent and dependable conditions, unrivaled grooming, and a dedicated chairlift, providing the very best training ground for some of the world’s finest race teams. Serviced by the Elevation chairlift, the “OSV” training venue can support up to four lanes of GS training.

Camp Dates

Empahsis

Tichy Racing coaches only the latest slalom and giant slalom technique. All technique is demonstrated by active internationally ranked racers. We focus on quality, productivity and safety each day on and off the mountain. Tichy Racing staff uses the newest coaching aids and training tools, including high quality video review, cordless digital timing equipment, new SPM 27 mm gates, brush gates, Hero gate and approved GS panels.

Meals & Lodging

Experience the very best of hotel/resort lodging of the year at Sun Peaks.
Full Camp athletes will be lodging at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel- 7 nights in 5 star resort - based on double occupancy in double room (2x queen beds). Meals include team breakfast and dinner served in the hotel. Lunches are coordinated as a team and purchased individually - at a team discounted price.
Day Camp families and racers traveling together - we are happy to coordinate everything for you from hotel to meals. Guests can choose from private rooms at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel and / or Residences at the Sun Peaks Grand Condos at discounted rates.
**Travel to/from Sun Peaks Resort not included - low cost shuttle options are available.

Activities

Sun Peaks Village offers the greatest variety and fun of any ski village. Weekly sessions will include an assortment of the following activities: indoor gym, pool time, ice skating and local seasonal adventures. Racing related activities will consist of daily dryland conditioning, afternoon video review, ski tuning and race strategy all aimed at building a better athlete for the upcoming season and years to come.

All activities are supervised and conducted in a safe and tested environment.
