Rated as one of the best and friendliest airports in North America, we are happy to meet all arriving participants at PDX within the specified travel times below. Transportation within stated timeframe is for full time participants only and provided at no extra cost. With 1-2 shuttle trips each Tuesday only, you will be on the mountains before you know it.
Tuesday arrival (inbound flights) at PDX between 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Young racers needing to travel as UM (unaccompanied minor / with airline escort) are asked to arrive (inbound flight) at PDX between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM *there is an additional charge collect by your air carrier and also a $75- fee (one time / trip) collected by Tichy Racing for those needing to travel UM requiring gate pick-up and / or drop-off
Tuesday departure (outbound flights) from PDX between 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Young racers needing to travel as UM (unaccompanied minor / with airline escort) are asked to depart (outbound flight) at PDX between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM *there is an additional charge collect by your air carrier and also a $75- fee (one time / trip) collected by Tichy Racing for those needing to travel UM requiring gate pick-up and / or drop-off
If traveling alone, with friends or parents (not accompanied by airline staff, upon arrival / landing please call / text. Proceed to luggage claim and one of our staff will meet you at luggage claim, assist you and guide you to meet the group.
If you are traveling as a UM (unaccompanied minor with airline staff representative), we will meet you at the landing gate, sign the needed paper work and escort you out of security area to luggage claim and to meet our group.
Our UM pick-up coach may occasionally change, however, most dates we ask you to list the following coach with his details matching DL for BOTH pick-up and drop-off:

If you are unable to arrive / depart within the specified travel time(s) a $200 additional surcharge per trip will be applied if an additional shuttle & staff is available. Reservations outside of required travel times must be made 30 or more days in advance.
Denver, CO. [DEN] - OCT. & NOV. 2024
The best suited airport for ski teams & skiers alike. We will meet you inside the Denver Airport and travel together to Copper Mountain in Summit County. Upon landing, please proceed to the 6th floor and BLUE DOOR #617; our group will station here.
If you are traveling as a UM (unaccompanied minor with airline staff representative) be sure to select ‘YES’ on your Tichy Racing travel/medical form. We will meet you at the landing gate, sign the needed paper work and escort you out of security area to luggage claim and to meet our group. A one-way (each occorance) a $75- charge will be applied to racers needing UM service.

MUNICH, GERmany [MUC] - SEP. & OCT. 2024
Munich [MUC] is a smaller European major airport with reasonable fares in and out of southern Germany. Less than 3 hours of drive time to Hintertux it is ideally located for our needs. Be sure to have a valid airport to travel (and return home) prior to departure.
Arrival to meet up with our group is Sunday landing before 11:15am. We will have rental vehicles ready and travel by auto will start around 12:30 pm
Departure with the group is after 10:15am. We will leave our hotel early on the last day around 5:15am to get to airport and checked in
Denver, CO. [DEN] - MAY 2024
We will meet you inside the Denver Airport and travel together to Copper Mountain in Summit County. Upon landing, please proceed to the 6th floor and BLUE DOOR #617; our group will station here. Just a 75 minute drive from Portland is the beautiful mountain village of Government Camp, Oregon. Many racers / families drive to ski camp, we look forward to welcoming you to our town and our ski camp.

Driving arrival to COPPER MNT. COLORADO - OCT. & NOV. 2024
For those driving to Copper Mountain, if you booked with us (Tichy Racing) you will have your keys, parking pass and room ready prior to your arrival. No need to wait for a check-in. Proceed directly to "Lodge at Copper" parking lot and one of our staff will meet you.

Airport pick up and drop off is possible if arranged prior at time of camp booking only to KAMLOOPS, BC (YKA). Sun Peaks, BC. offers many unique opportunities for travel.
Kamloops Airport (YKA) FULL CAMP arrival transportation (shuttle) is possible for flights landing on Saturday, December 7 between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM
Kamloops Airport (YKA) FULL CAMP departure transportation (shuttle) is possible for flights departing on Saturday, December 14 between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM
